Shontelle Halladay

I am a Stay-at-home mother of two and have been decorating cakes for the past four years.  I graduated from Brigham Young University-Idaho in 2010 with a bachelor’s degree in Interior Design.  Since graduation, I have focused my efforts on not only raising my children, but developing my cake decorating skills.  From a young age, I have fond memories of standing beside my mother as she decorated and personalized birthday cakes, not only for me, but for my four other siblings as well.  I have always had an interest in and a natural flair for the arts, ranging from cake decorating, to model building, and on to architectural design.  I have a deep passion for all things artistic and personally invest myself into every project that I create, taking great care in overseeing the tiniest details of everything that I do and accomplish.  I have been building scale models of my favorite architectural structures since my first birdhouse in the first grade.  Cake designing and decorating was a natural additional step for those talents.  I often regard my cakes as “edible models” and can’t wait to design my next masterpiece for you!
